Paral Mehta is a Practising Lawyer enrolled under the State Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. She completed her studies in Law from Government Mohindra College, Patiala (Affiliated with Punjabi University).
During her entire journey from being a student to becoming a First-Generation Litigation Lawyer, she has gained crucial life skills and soft Skill, which in her opinion have embraced her journey overall. She believes that learning is a lifelong process, and one should always have an open mindset and willingness to learn.
“One of my strongest values is my desire to serve”, says Paral. On a professional level, her primary goal is to help serve individuals. Service is the main reason why she chose to join Legal Education Awareness Foundation.
Being the State Coordinator for Punjab & Haryana, she strongly believes that with the collective effort of all the Team Leads & Members, she will be able to embark and leave a positive impact throughout the journey at Legal Education Awareness Foundation.
Mr. Suraj Mandhan is a practicing advocate in the High Court of Punjab & Haryana. He completed his B.A. LL.B from Kurukshetra University and gained his LL.M from Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed to be University, Mullana, Ambala.
Suraj holds great interest in the field of academics and research. His roots from the rural corners of our country drive his inclination towards public policy. In order to help people get justice, he aims to serve as an Amicus Curie and wants to work for those who are not able to arrange lawyers due to financial restraints.
As an assistant state coordinator in Legal Education Awareness Foundation, he aims to spread legal awareness among the laymen. He believes that people are often not well aware about their rights and hence end up facing harassment.
Harneet Kaur is pursuing her studies in Law from Govt. Mohindra college affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. She's a seasoned public speaker and holds immense experience in legal research.
As an assistant state coordinator at Legal education Awareness Foundation, she plans on working for the interests of marginalized sections of society.
Priyanshi Bhardwaj is pursuing her studies in law from Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIPU. She holds immense experience in legal research & dispute resolution. Having worked with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, she’s well acquainted with the the technicalities of legal aid.
She serves as the member of American Bar Association(ABA), Association for Women’s Rights In Development (AWID), International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and a young member of Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). She’s also a part of the editorial board at Anumaarga.
As the Team Lead for Legal Aid, she aims at utilising social media for not only reaching the people who need assistance, but also acquaint people in general about law.
