Shreya is a Final Law Student at a reputed Law College in Mumbai. When she picked Law as a career, she knew, that as someone who is driven by equality, harmony and peace, keeping herself motivated through the highs and lows of our system, would be inspiration enough.
The last year, put humanity at test. While doing so, we did emerge victorious, however, there were certain stories that were so disturbing, it took away Shreya’s sleep. That is when she decided to join voices with organisations that stood for legal rights and awareness, being the voice for the silenced in the broken system.
She is a rookie at running marathons. When she runs, there are moments when the mental and physical fatigue distracts her determination, but she keeps going anyway. She is that person; once she sets her mind to achieve something, it will happen. Now she puts that perseverance towards my academic goals, passion and work.
In her free time, she reads, cycles, and indulges in her love for seeing new places.
She hopes that her time at LEAF is enriching and collectively, she and the Pan India team fulfil their roles to the best of their potential and be the change we all wish to see.

Ananya is an aspiring solicitor who loves meeting and interacting with new people all the time. From liaising with other organisations that hold the same ideals as LEAF to managing the Campaigning and Social aspects for the state of Maharashtra, she strives to bring refreshing change to an already dynamic workplace.
Being a Law Student, her interest in the subject piqued at the beauty of how balanced and true the very idea of law is, how it offers stability but does not stand still. It is through the reverberating sound of knowledge that she wishes to wake up from a trance of ignorance and push forward to working towards human rights of life, liberty and self development. She believes that people with good intentions make promises but people with good character are those who keep them.
This is the kind of lawyer she strives to become.
